One Man’s Treasure Clothing Drive

For the month of March, Questpro held a clothing drive for One Man’s Treasure! This non-profit organization takes men’s clothing donations of all kinds and delivers them to men recently released from prison. By providing them with essential clothing and support during this period of critical need, these men are empowered to change the courses of their lives, interview for jobs, and reintegrate into society. At the end of our clothing drive, they even came to the office for pickup, making it easy and convenient to deliver our donations! Find out more and schedule here: https://www.onemanstr.org/

The Birthday Party Project Fundraising Event

The Birthday Party Project hosts monthly birthday parties for children in homeless and transitional living facilities across the country. To date, they have celebrated over 8,000 birthdays with over 44,000 kids in attendance.

Questpro employees have volunteered their time at multiple parties over the past 3 years in the DFW area and organized toy drives to donate for birthday presents. Our researcher, Julie Jensen, has been a party coordinator at Family Gateway for the past 3.5 years which means she is there monthly coordinating the volunteers.

Questpro has been a sponsor for 4 years, and this year the fundraising event theme was “A night at the Drive In”, where guests dressed as their favorite movie characters! In all, the event raised $500,000! To learn more, visit www.thebirthdaypartyproject.org

Feed My Starving Children

One afternoon we went to volunteer at Feed My Starving Children in Richardson, TX. This organization brings protein and vitamin rich meals to countries where children suffer from hunger and starvation. Each meal is measured, packaged, sealed, and boxed by volunteers! For two hours, the Questpro team and four other groups of volunteers raced to see who could pack the most boxes of food, all while dancing to the music playing over the loud speakers. In total we packed 84 boxes containing 18,144 meals, which will feed 50 children for an entire year. If you want to make an impact while having a great time, get a group together and spend an afternoon at Feed My Starving Children!!

Toy Drive for Toys For Tots

These are few of the many toys we donated last week to Toys For Tots! Every year for the holiday season, Questpro takes part in multiple charity initiatives to make sure others have a wonderful Christmas. This year one of our activities was to donate a toys to our local, DFW Toys For Tots, which brings joy to less fortunate children in our own community. Make giving a part of your company holiday tradition and check out this incredible organization!

Global Giving Charity Gift Card

In 2017 , we sent charity gift cards to our clients, so they could donate to a charity of their choice. Overall, our clients redeemed 191 charity gift cards to charities in 24 countries and 79 different projects worldwide. We are so excited about this amazing turnout and hope to see an increase in this year’s numbers! The Global Giving Charity Gift Card is the perfect way to get everyone in the giving spirit this holiday season, and we hope our clients enjoy the gift of giving as much as we enjoy our partnership. Partnership with IIAT

Are you a member of Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT)? You are eligible to receive a discount on Questpro’s staffing services, and a portion of the service fee will be donated to help ELITExas! This program is a group of young insurance professionals who are a part of IIAT and meet on a regular basis. Their mission is to unify the new generation of the insurance industry and support each other in their career path.

QGrads and Gamma Iota Sigma

QGrads has a charitable initiative in that when we place one of your students with a job, our company donates a portion of the service fee back to your university’s GIS chapter. GIS is an international professional fraternity organized to promote, encourage, and sustain student interest in insurance, risk management and actuarial science as a profession. So, at no cost to the student or university, we help place jobs and donate back to the school.

The Birthday Party Project

Questpro had two groups of employees that volunteered their time at a magic themed party held at Center of Hope and a beach bash at Family Gateway. We also provided the birthday gifts for a record-breaking number of June birthdays at Family Gateway. We spent time making sure we had the perfect age-appropriate gift for each birthday kid, wrapped every present, and signed their birthday cards. The parties were such a blast with these amazing kids, and we can’t wait to do it again! We encourage you to check out their website and learn more: http://www.thebirthdaypartyproject.org

Food Drive for the North Texas Food Bank

For the month of November, Questpro had a food drive for the North Texas Food Bank! Together we gradually collected healthy, low-sodium vegetables, wheat pasta, cereal and rice. As of November 30th, our two huge donation boxes were filled and so was the car! In all, 271 lbs of food was donated to families in need, so they won’t go hungry this holiday season. Thank you North Texas Food Bank for giving everyone an opportunity to help the community and being the liaison to feeding those in Dallas.
