This year for the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation Week of Giving Questpro hosted a supplies drive for The Magdalen House of Dallas! Their needs included house hold item like dish soap, Clorox wipes, paper towels and tissues. Our drive was a huge success, and we were able to see Maggie’s House when dropping off the box of supplies. It was a beautiful, safe place where women could achieve sobriety and recover from addiction. If you wish to support The Magdalen House, visit their website and donate! https://magdalenhouse.org/

For the month of June, Questpro had three different groups volunteer at The Birthday Party Project around Dallas! This organization hosts parties at homeless and transitional living facilities, bringing fun and celebration to those who need some joy. Each party was beach themed and a huge blast for the kids and parents who attended. We decorated the party room, played games, did crafts, sang happy birthday to those with birthdays that month, and cleaned up afterwards. It was a great experience serving with this amazing organization. Learn more about The Birthday Party project here: https://www.thebirthdaypartyproject.org/

For the month of March, Questpro held a clothing drive for One Man’s Treasure! This non-profit organization takes men’s clothing donations of all kinds and delivers them to men recently released from prison. By providing them with essential clothing and support during this period of critical need, these men are empowered to change the courses of their lives, interview for jobs, and reintegrate into society. At the end of our clothing drive, they even came to the office for pickup, making it easy and convenient to deliver our donations! Find out more and schedule here: https://www.onemanstr.org/
The Birthday Party Project hosts monthly birthday parties for children in homeless and transitional living facilities across the country. To date, they have celebrated over 8,000 birthdays with over 44,000 kids in attendance.
Questpro employees have volunteered their time at multiple parties over the past 3 years in the DFW area and organized toy drives to donate for birthday presents. Our researcher, Julie Jensen, has been a party coordinator at Family Gateway for the past 3.5 years which means she is there monthly coordinating the volunteers.
Questpro has been a sponsor for 4 years, and this year the fundraising event theme was “A night at the Drive In”, where guests dressed as their favorite movie characters! In all, the event raised $500,000! To learn more, visit www.thebirthdaypartyproject.org
