I co-founded Questpro Consultants in August of 1996 where I joined my partners in building the foundation of what is now considered to be the premier Insurance Recruiting firm in the nation. I went from the next great sportscaster and play by play man to sitting behind a desk and dialing for dollars! Now 25 Years later, I can safely say the best decision I’ve ever made. From coast to coast, my team and I match top notch insurance talent with the absolute best Insurance Carriers, Brokers, TPA’s and more. We are way more than headhunters. Questpro and the Q Companies are the one stop shop when it comes to looking for supreme talent of all levels.
When I am not playing KOAR (King of All Recruiters), I’m at home with my lovely wife, Lauren, and three sons, that continue to challenge me and keep me young: Parker, Owen, and Taylor. I’m also addicted and frustrated all at once by golf but love the game just as much as I love my family and team.
Shoot me an email! I’m looking forward to helping you find that dream job in the very near future.
I’ve spent most of my working life at Questpro, starting in January 2000. I began as a Recruiting Coordinator, learning the ins and outs of recruiting and the insurance industry. In 2006, I started up our research department, growing it to where it’s an important piece of our recruiting process today. In 2013, I became a Partner, where I focused on recruiting C-level jobs and enhancing our client base. At the beginning of 2016, I was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, leading our direct hire team and overseeing all of our recruiting tools and systems companywide.
I was born in Farmington Hills, MI but was raised in Fort Worth, TX. Growing up I wanted to become a doctor. However, after realizing the amount of school I would have to go through along with the price tag involved, I went to college wondering where life would lead me.
After I graduated from Boston University in 1999 and spending a short time working for a mutual fund company in Boston, my heart brought me back to the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
I have 2 daughters, Callie who is 3 years old and Maddie who is 1 year old.
I found the “Golden Ticket” 19 years ago when I was hired by Questpro to grow its temporary division, QTemps. Never in my wildest imagination did I think I would be working for such an energetic, fun-loving company that I call family whilst being able to work for such a kind and caring CEO, Kevin Burch.
I spent the first part of my career knocking on doors around the insurance industry, creating awareness of our new temporary division, QTemps. In 2013, I became partner of QTemps, managing our recruiters and the entire division’s operations. Over the years, we grew, going from 20 temps to over 250, with close to $11 million in sales. Now, as President of QTemps, I continue to grow and manage the division.
I have been a consistent member of Questpro’s Presidents Club, Employee of the Year, and top Producer of the year. I was born and raised in Dallas, TX and recently married my 8th grade boyfriend (yes you read that right), Patrick, in September of 2020. I have two beautiful step-daughters, the sweetest sister anyone could ever have and two amazing nephews that I adore.
A career counselor and divine intervention – the two influencers that launched my rewarding career in staffing. Longing for a career where I could help others and not be behind a desk and four walls, the book What Color is Your Parachute, and an intuitive career counselor showed me the ”light”. Temporary staffing was a relatively new industry that companies were integrating into their staffing models and in 1980 I became a consultative sales rep for an international staffing firm and have never looked back!
Over the years, I’ve worked for 3 recruiting firms in roles from Sales Rep to District Manager to VP of Sales and Partner at Questpro. All along the way I have had the satisfaction of positively changing lives and helping great companies significantly grow. Serving on various university-level advisory boards, education committees and industry associations has kept me abreast of the great industry we serve while making friends along the way. Recognizing the changing workforce needs of the insurance industry, I helped launch QGrads and QExecs in 2016. Now that QGrads is off and running with a great team, Questpro and QTemps are breaking all- time highs, it is time to focus my efforts on our executive consulting division, QExecs where I serve as President.
A native Texan, my time is now split between Dallas and Santa Fe, NM where I have learned to enjoy nature, chiles and a slower pace. Starting my day with a sunrise hike and yoga serves as fantastic inspiration! My hubby John and I love golfing, hiking, traveling, and meeting new friends. My role as President of QExecs also allows me more time to devote to my other favorite role as “mom” and “grammy” to my amazing two children and three fun grandchildren. Life is good, and I can’t wait to see what lies ahead!
Reach out if you’d like to learn more about QExecs, ask for advice on a professional project, or if you’re looking for NM chile recommendations. I’d be happy to help you!
A proud “Okie,” not from Muskogee but close to it, Jillanna joined Questpro Consultants as a “Rookie” Recruiter in the summer of 2000 and promoted to Partner in 2010. Recognizing the market demand for quality recruitment services within the rapidly growing Cost Containment Arena, Jillanna was responsible for the ramp up of the Questpro Managed Care Division in 2004. Since 2003 Metroplex Association of Personnel Consultants (MAPC) has named her one of the top industry recruiters: top 8 in 2008, 2009, 2010 & top 5 in 2011. Questpro Company awards include: Presidents’ Club Member & Top 3 Producer for the past nine consecutive years, including being named “Employee of the Year” in 2005 & 2012. She attributes success to her attention to providing results driven service to clients by continuously delivering high demand “A” players within the P&C Insurance and HealthCare disciplines of Claims/Workers’ Compensation, Sales/Account Management, IT, and Legal. Jillanna holds a Bachelors degree in Business Communications from Baylor University “Sic ‘Em Bears” and a Masters in Human Resources from Dallas Baptist University. Additionally, Jillanna loves spending time with family/friends especially her two busy little boys. As Board Secretary, she is also an active member of her son’s BSE PTA. Other interests include running, dance and travel.
I am fortunate to serve as the Vice President of Business Development for Questpro Consultants where I collaborate with hiring managers, HR leaders, and executives to develop and grow their teams. After spending the last three years in a recruitment-focused role for our agency, I understand what our clients are looking for in a staffing partner and what it takes to find the right talent at the right time for the right team. The recruiting game is not a one size fits all solution, so I strive to build relationships with my clients and learn the motivating factors behind their hiring needs.
After graduating from the University of Kansas in 2012 (Rock Chalk!), I had no idea what I wanted to do with my career – which of course my parents were thrilled about. After some sleepless nights and lots of heart-to-hearts with those closest to me, I was referred to a commercial insurance brokerage and thus began my insurance journey. I spent the early part of my career at Lockton Companies working on large national accounts before transitioning to our HR team as a Recruiting Specialist, where I supported the recruitment efforts for both the Dallas and Houston offices following the Lockton Texas merger. Following that role, I was brought onto the Questpro team to manage our recent grad division, QGrads. Through the P&C coverage training I received early on, and the experience from both in-house and agency roles, I feel grateful to have the opportunity to build upon those skills in my role with our sales team. I now work with our internal recruiters to strategize the best ways to support our clients, along with collaborating with some of the greatest leaders in our industry to solve their hiring challenges. I’ve landed speaking opportunities at conferences across the country and in 2020 was selected as an Emerging Leader in Insurance by the APCIA and AM Best. I am blessed to serve as a Director for YRP Texas, a member of the UT Dallas RMI Advisory Council, and an Associate Board Member for the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF).
When I’m not working you can find me coordinating travel plans with my husband Nathan (a Houston-native and fellow Jayhawk). I’m grateful to work for a CEO like Kevin who understands that I fully utilize my PTO, and I’m not above hopping on an international flight and jetting off for a long-weekend whenever I get the chance! I like to say I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list. I’m a sixth-generation Texan and while I love exploring the world, my favorite corner of it is here in Dallas with family. Nathan and I are aunt and uncle to five nephews and two nieces which keeps us busy on the babysitting front and serves as good training ground for our future. My long-term goals include earning a sommelier certification (I like to read about wine as much as I love to drink it), learning French fluently, and driving our Questpro brand to new heights across the country.
Add me on LinkedIn if you’d like to discuss your hiring strategy, growth goals, or your most recent getaway – I’ll be all ears.
I started my career with Questpro as a Marketing and Sales Associate after graduating from the University of North Texas in 2015 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. I quickly found a passion for the recruiting world and was given the opportunity to start up and lead Questpro’s QGrads division, where I focused on helping recent college graduates find promising careers in the Risk Management and Insurance industry. In this role, I was able to present on the topic of hiring millennials in insurance to various industry groups, such as RIMS, IIAT, IIAD and PRIMA as well as serve on boards for YRP and IICF. My focus in the college recruiting industry led me to a University Recruiting role with Google in Austin, TX where I had the pleasure of placing some of the world’s brightest students in Engineering roles across the country.
I quickly realized that I missed the insurance industry and the relationships I made and found myself in a Senior Recruiting role at HUB International where I recruited for four regions including, Texas, Mid-America, Southwest and Financial Services. At HUB, I received my Texas Property and Casualty Agent’s licenses and the Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist designation and began selling commercial Property and Casualty products to middle-market companies in Texas.
My love for talent acquisition within the Risk Management and Insurance industry held through, and I decided to come back home to Questpro in a Business Development Director capacity. I’m excited to begin marketing our services with carriers, brokers and TPA’s throughout the Midwest and help pair great companies with the industry’s best and brightest!
I started working with Questpro as an intern during my senior year at the Cox School of Business of Southern Methodist University. During this year, I practiced and fine-tuned my marketing skills through class projects, internships, and volunteering as marketing director of SMU’s Relay for Life. After graduating, I decided to take my marketing degree, stay in Dallas, and start full-time for Questpro. Since then, I have built Questpro’s online presence and exponentially grown it in the last four years of my time with the company. Initially from San Antonio, I love visiting my family anytime I can, especially my little nieces and nephew. I’m also excited to be planning my wedding coming up in 2022, to another working professional in the insurance industry! See, insurance can be attractive!
I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors in Advertising and Public Relations and a Minor in Marketing. I began my professional career in healthcare marketing, which led me to a business development position with a focus in workers’ compensation and managed care.
I was referred to Questpro by an industry friend, and then employee, who excitedly shared an open opportunity within the company. I proudly joined Questpro in February 2016 as Business Development Director for Florida, focusing on establishing and maintaining relationships with carriers, TPAs, agencies, brokerages and MGAs throughout the state. As an INFJ (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) and strong on the CliftonStrengths Empathy talent scale, I naturally strive to understand and relate with others, and have enjoyed learning the ins and outs of the insurance and risk management industry, from our clients’ perspective. I love hearing success stories from clients about how our services have assisted in the growth and success of their respective businesses.
After four years of helping clients meet their individual needs, I transitioned to Sales Research, where my daily concentration has shifted to our internal business development team. I work to equip each member of our sales team with data and opportunities needed to form new relationships and write new success stories of their own.
It’s truly an honor to work alongside a team full of knowledgeable, skilled, caring individuals, who each share in the same vision and goal of helping outstanding companies attract, hire and retain outstanding talent. It’s a great feeling to know that collectively, we’re working together to make a positive impact.
As a Native Floridian, I love everything about the Sunshine State, and spend much of my free time outdoors with my daughter, Meira, and our three goldendoodles, Stella, Bo and Goldie.
In 2004, I returned to Dallas from Austin after a couple so-so years at the University of Texas in need of both funds and direction. For three years I sought a new path, working at a sign shop, CPA’s office, and full-commission sales while taking night classes and attempting to get some sleeping.
In 2007, through the great fortune of an old friend’s referral, I met Kevin Burch and a tribe of people who spoke my language, were doing something I knew how to do (sell), in an industry I happened to know a little bit about (insurance). What was cloudy became perfectly clear. Sourcing in a bullpen turned into clients, clients turned into sales, sales turned into referral business and RFP’s, and suddenly, I had something of a career going.
In 2013, I opted to go remote and somewhat ironically moved right back to Austin. My recruiting focus, network and responsibilities have evolved over time, but simply said, what I do best is help solve talent problems, which in insurance means helping incumbents dominate, new entrants grow, insurtechs disrupt, and fellow industry service providers deliver value.
Given the investment and attention insurance is receiving, what I love most about insurance recruiting is that nobody knows what any of this will look like in 5-10 years, and I get to help people mitigate that risk in their career.
When I am not busy recruiting or chasing around my family, you can usually find me running or cycling around Austin’s beautiful landscape, golfing at one of it’s historic municipal courses, or patronizing a local brewery.
I got my start in Insurance recruiting back in 1997 with one of the largest MRI offices in the country, where I learned the business from the ground up. After spending the last 13 years at Adecco Staffing, I decided it was time for a change, and I was lucky to find my new role at Questpro. From day one in the business I have focused on working with top rated Life Insurance and Life Reinsurance companies across the country. Today I still work specifically with the Life Insurance industry and work most every type of position primarily at the mid-career level and up to Executive. Types of positions that my team and I work on include: Accounting/Finance, Actuarial, Claims, Data Science/Modeling, Investment/Asset Management, Legal/Compliance, Medical Director, New Business, Operations/Process Improvement, Project Management, Sales/Distribution, Underwriting, Wholesalers and Executive level positions from VP to CEO.
I was born and raised in the Dallas, TX area, and I have lived in Allen, TX for the last 15+ years. I am a proud “LumberJack” graduating from Stephen F Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. I have been married to the same beautiful woman for 25 years and have 2 sons who are 23 and 18 years old. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife, going to concerts, singing a little karaoke, and of course going to the movies of playing darts with my boys. I am an avid tennis player (4.5 level) and a tennis nerd.
I won the lottery in 2012 when I rejoined Questpro for round 2 (following round 1, 2001-2008) because there really is NO place like home! Much like many of my insurance compadres, I stumbled face first into this industry that I barely knew existed, and it’s been a crazy ride ever since. My passion is all things P&C, from the carrier to the brokerage space and everything in between. If you’re looking for someone to represent you who speaks your language and understands what you do, I’m your girl!
I pride myself on developing strong, long-term relationships with clients and have a proven track record in understanding your specific needs and targeting the talent best suited for your culture. Tired of the transactional recruiter who just doesn’t get YOU and YOUR company? Your search stops here.
I have enjoyed recognition as part of DFW Top 20 Recruiters on 4 occasions, as well as recognition on a state level for outstanding achievement. I have been a Certified Personnel Consultant since 2005, and 2021 marks my 20th year of insurance recruiting.
Outside of living and breathing insurance, I enjoy gardening and perfecting my culinary skills. I was born in New York but got to Texas as quickly as I could at the age of 2, and I’ve been a Dallas native over 30 years, apart from the 5 years in my beloved desert home of Tucson, AZ. I have 3 grown daughters and 2 beautiful grandchildren.
Give me a call, let’s get to know each other!
My passion and success as an insurance recruiter can be traced back to my days working as an insurance claims examiner. What can I say – I love the insurance industry, and I can’t quit it!
I’ve been with Questpro since 2011 on the QTemps team as a Senior Recruiter and Client Manager. My focus is with both temp and temp-to-hire positions for claims professionals, underwriting support, account managers, customer service representatives and administrative staff. During my ten years with the company, I’ve received the following recognitions: Presidents’ Club Member, 2015 Employee of the Year, and 2020 Producer of the Year. My goal is to provide superior service to both our clients and candidates.
A long-time resident of the Dallas area, I enjoy sewing and quilting, and spending time with friends and family. Also, I’m a “groupie” to a local Jazz band my sister-in-law sings with. If you’re in the Dallas area, shoot me a message and come along sometime!
I lead the QGrads division of Questpro and love my job! I’m blessed to have found my calling in working with college students and recent graduates and helping them find job/internship opportunities within the Risk Management & Insurance industry. I help students with professional development, networking, resume reviews, mock interviews, education about the various career paths within this industry, and ultimately help them find that first job out of college! The QGrads division of Questpro is a national one-stop-shop for any young person that is interested in this industry.
Let me tell you a little bit more about myself. I graduated from Georgia State University in 2013 with a BBA in Risk Management and Insurance, minor in Actuarial Science. Upon graduating, I started my career with Marsh USA, Inc. and worked for the leading commercial insurance brokerage for five years. As an Associate Account Executive, I managed client service needs over multiple product lines within both the National Brokerage and Global Risk Management arenas. Seeking to meaningfully impact the next generation and their career exposure and opportunities within Risk Management & Insurance, I joined the national team at Gamma Iota Sigma as the Director of Chapter Engagement. While working for the student association, I created and managed national resources for the local chapters to foster effective chapter management and inclusive membership. In 2020 (in the middle of the pandemic), I pivoted to the recruiting side of the industry by joining Questpro and it has been so refreshing! I love being able to change students’ lives every day and enhance the trajectory of their careers.
Fun facts about me: I was born and raised in South Africa and immigrated to the United States at 17 years old. My husband and I live in Miami, FL, and we enjoy the warm weather, palm trees, and proximity to the ocean. We love to travel (domestic & international), scuba dive, snorkel, and explore unique restaurants and attractions. My passions include: mentoring students, networking, planning and hosting events, tackling retention issues, challenging status quo, and championing all Justice, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion initiatives.
Feel free to reach out to me any time. Cheers!
Remember the nerve wrecking jitters you’d feel the before school Field Days? You feel beyond excited and won’t stop till you win first place. (Queue Rocky music playing in the background.) This is how I feel every day, seeking new insurance talent.
I have been in recruiting for 8+ years and have assisted major companies in different industries like accounting, clerical and now insurance. My years of experience has taught me that finding the right job/candidate can be challenging but always rewarding. After all the questions and searching, it’s a sigh of relief knowing you found the perfect candidate for the job. I am obviously passionate about what I do.
Outside of work, I love spending time with family, fishing (even though I am horrible at it), cleaning (my form of meditation), or planning my next trip. I’m also a big foodie, sitting down with 3-4 plates just to taste a bit of everything.
Although I claim to be a native Texan, I was actually born in OK and moved to Dallas when I was 6. My dad nick-named me his “Okie from Muskogee” after a Merle Haggard song. To this day, I am still not sure why.
After graduating from Texas Tech University in 2006 in degree in Communications (after changing my major 3 times), I came back to Dallas, like many others after college, wondering what was next. My gift of gab and desire to know everything about everyone (my friends have a saying about me, “everywhere she goes there is not a stranger she does not know”), led me staffing with Questpro in 2010.
I love recruiting insurance professionals and have learned so much about the industry and the people the last 10 years. I have placed account managers, risk and claims professionals and much more. My priority is making sure I understands my clients’ needs, so they have the best experience while working with Questpro and receive top talent for their team.
Outside of work, I’m an active member of DCA, RIMS and IIAD, and I love attending networking events. Since I’ve started with Questpro, I’ve gotten engaged, married, and I’m now a proud mother to my crazy outgoing son, Otto! I couldn’t have asked for a better support system through it all!
I recruit on the Life Insurance team at Questpro working roles including Actuaries, Data Scientists, Underwriters, Project/Product Managers, and Executives across the Life, Retiremet, LTC, CI/DI, and Health space.
I’m a new dad (at least if my 6 year old chihuahua doesn’t count), so I spend most of my free time these days staring lovingly at my baby girl and trying to help my spouse take care of her. When not doing that, I play the drums and piano (check me out at theslowrain.bandcamp.com), reading boring history and philosophy books, and I love horror fiction as well. I also watch too much TV and care way too much about the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and college football.
I love my Questpro family and have been specializing in the Life space for over 2 years. The biggest thrill I get here is learning about innovation and change in the insurance industry and helping candidates get to work for companies that are pushing the envelope in the world of InsurTech! If you ever want to just talk about technology, culture, history, philosophy, or if you actually want to pursue new opportunities in the Life Insurance sector PLEASE reach out to me!

In 2014, the Recruiting industry found me when I was referred by an industry professional and former colleague. I began my professional career as a Research Analyst on the Questpro direct hire team, where I combined my love for investigating and digging for information along with my passion for developing relationships, to attract top tier insurance talent for our clients. In the game of recruiting, I play an active role to tee up highly qualified candidates for our recruiters to knock them out of the park. Our unique approach and vast skill set allows for our teamwork to be second to none.
I’ve been a proud member of Questpro’s President’s Club for the past 6 years and received recognition for Employee of the Year in 2017. In 2018, I was promoted to Research Manager, overseeing the direct hire research team.
Born and raised in Texas, I recently relocated to Boise, ID with my husband and two furry four-legged children. Since relocating, I’ve assumed the role of Recruiting Account Manager. I enjoy being out in nature and exploring the majestic Gem State, turning people’s junk into treasure, and discovering new local breweries.
I stumbled into the world of staffing shortly after moving to Dallas, TX in 2009 and haven’t looked back. Questpro is now the longest relationship I have ever been a part of, and they will have to kick me out. I started as a researcher for the permanent placement team in 2013, then tried my hand as a recruiter for the temp staffing team for a couple of years, and have now found my home as a researcher for the QTemps team. I love hunting for resumes and finding hidden gems buried in the job boards. Helping my team find the perfect candidates for our open positions has always been motivating, and it just never gets old.
When I’m not digging for resumes, you can find me hanging out with my husband and our daughter, Riley. Life consists of drinking cold beer, watching the Dallas Stars, listening to live music, eating tacos and walking around our amazing neighborhood of Bishop Arts.
Growing up, I lived in East Texas, Omaha Nebraska, then Dallas as a teenager. A business-comedy telenovela sparked my passion for marketing many years ago, so I decided to pursue a degree in marketing at The University of Texas at Dallas. While at UT Dallas, I joined the Professional Sales Program where I learned the science of social selling. During my last semesters at UT Dallas, I interned as a commercial lines sales intern at a Dallas-based insurance agency where I learned to appreciate insurance and all its moving parts. I graduated with my B.S. in Marketing and a USCA Sales Certification. I truly have a passion for helping people, so I am excited to be a part of the Questpro team where I can help folks find the next step in their careers! In my free time, I like to play outdoors with my 5-year-old, Benjamin, who has recently taken up a love for tee-ball.
Pam graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Business Management and immediately began her career in Human Resources. She soon discovered staffing was her path when she started working in the industry in 2012. She worked for a national staffing company for 6 years where she started as an Assistant, learning the industry, and moved to a Consultant role for the past 4 years. Her passion is helping each candidate and client find the perfect fit. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 young children.
Jamie joined the Questpro/QTemps team in April 2004. She started her career with QTemps as a recruiter and transitioned into the role of Office Manager for the company in 2007. Jamie graduated from Texas Tech University in 1996 with a Bachelor’s degree in Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management. She is a devoted mother to 2 boys ages 3 and 5. She loves to spend time with her family and to travel. Jamie’s role is to make sure we all are on top of our games each and every day.
